The English Beers:
The English beers accentuate the delicate roasted malt flavors, and the noble character of the hops that are unique to the English strains. However, true to American style, these beers are not lacking in flavor!
Defiance, a British style bitter
3.8% ABV 35 IBUs
Part of the Trafalgar series of beers. Easy drinking light session beer made with 100% Marris Otter base malt and East Kent Golding hops, the premium malt and hop combination of England. Appears golden in color with a lasting off white head. Aromas of caramel and bread. The distinctive EKG noble hop character hits you first, followed by flavors of a light fruit. Slightly bitter with earth and a lingering light caramel finish.
5.0% 18 IBU’s
A lightly sweet roasty chocolaty stout with a rich creamy mouthful makes this the perfect balanced session beer. Made with J Wells’ own Stout Malt blended with American and British malts right here at the brewery.
Lig Ts Out Stout (by request)
10% abv 45 IBU’s
Incredibly malty Russian Imperial Stout. The ultimate in British beer. Brewed the first snow of the year until spring the following year.

Light, easy drinking with a nice mango nose. Brewed with British wheat malt.
